Lord Baltimore Women’s Club, a Delaware nonprofit organization, invites the public to a Fundraiser Afternoon Garden Tea Party on Monday, May 4, from 12–4 PM at the Delaware Botanic Gardens at Pepper Creek in Dagsboro, Delaware. This spring gathering blends beauty and community support in this beautiful Sussex County natural setting.
Lord Baltimore Women’s Club is a local, all-volunteer nonprofit dedicated to community service through hands-on work and charitable giving across Sussex County. Funds raised from this tea party directly support local needs and highlights the importance of environmental stewardship. owner of Story Hill Farm, is a sought-after speaker who makes environmental stewardship irresistible and sends audiences home ready to roll up their sleeves. Botanic Garden Horticulturalist Christine Justice will also provide information about the gardens. With live music, plein air artists, garden exploration, and shared tea, the event celebrates human connection and the natural world that sustains us.

Fifty years ago, The Chorus of Dorchester began performing in celebration of our nation’s 200th anniversary. Still going strong, the Chorus will celebrate America’s semiquincentennial (say that three times fast!) with a summer concert that will feature many of the best-loved patriotic songs and spirituals that have dazzled audiences over five decades..
No auditions are required, but the ability to read music is helpful to be part of this group that has provided over 300 free concerts since its beginning.
