Join us in honoring Harriet Tubman Day, a significant holiday in Maryland. We will commemorate this occasion by exploring the rich history of the community from which Tubman originated. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn directly from community members and Rangers.1 am: In Eternal Tribute: A Legacy Memorial Dedication honoring the esteemed local icon and advocate, the late Ms. Shirley Jackson, into our Legacy Garden memorial.12 pm: “A Journey towards the Orphans Court”-Join us for an inspiring presentation with George Ames, Chief Judge of the Dorchester County Orphans Court, as he reflects on a life dedicated to service, leadership, and character.1 pm: "Mapping Resistance along the Harriet Tubman Underground Railroad Byway and Eastern Shore" - Discover places on the Byway that highlight themes of resistance and community with Harriet Tubman as well as Network To Freedom sites where other resistance occurred in the Eastern Shore.2 pm: “Of Pine Street”- Join David and William Jarmon for a cultural experience in an African American Community known as The Second Ward of Cambridge Maryland, time period 1800’s-1960’s. 3 pm: Beyond Spirituals: Black Folk Music Before the Civil War-Join Ranger Robin to explore the unseen African origins of the banjo and the festival music enslaved people made for it before the Civil War.

Bill Sammons known as a broadcaster at 88.7 The Bridge Radio will be the guest speaker during Cafe Night at Connection Church on Sunday March 15.
At 6PM, the music begins as The River sets the atmosphere with beautifully arranged, heart-felt praise and worship. The River is a group of worshippers with two goals: worship Christ and lead other into a deeper place of worship as well. Be transformed as we step into "the river" and bask in the God’s presence. Light refreshments are served at these Coffee-House style nights, so come by a little early for fellowship. This time you'll enjoy Irish desserts. Love offerings are welcome, but there is no charge to attend.

Chesapeake Music is pleased to present the Live Final Round of the 12th Chesapeake International Chamber Music Competition for Young Professionals!
Join us for an all-day event and listen as our five finalist ensembles—Brompton Quartet, Candide Quartet, Dolphins Quartet, Synchrony Quartet, and Trio Animoso—compete through their performances for a slate of fantastic prizes. The Live Final Round is an all-day, ticketed event on Saturday, April 11th with $25 general admission and a limited number of free tickets available to students and educators. The event will begin at 11:00 a.m. and each ensemble will perform for 45 minutes. There will be three performances before a break running from approximately 2:00–3:00 p.m., followed by the remaining two performances. Remarks, awards, and a reception will follow, concluding at approximately 6:00 p.m.
These young performers are rising stars in chamber music and we're thrilled to bring them to Easton to share their artistry with the community. This spring gathering blends beauty and community support in this beautiful Sussex County natural setting.
