Wor-Wic Community College is inviting the public to a free virtual reading by Julian Zabalbeascoa, author of the novel “What We Tried to Bury Grows Here,” on Monday, March 30, at 6:30 p.m., via Zoom. Zabalbeascoa’s stories have appeared in American Short Fiction, The Gettysburg Review, Ploughshares and more.
He is associate director of honors experiential learning opportunities and communication for the Honors College at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. The event, part of the Echoes & Visions literary series, is free and open to the public. Wings of Spring Osprey FestivalCelebrate the return of spring and the osprey at Wings of Spring in Rock Hall!
The weekend begins with a kickoff cocktail party at Osprey Point Inn on Friday, April 24, bringing together community members and visitors to toast the season. On Saturday, April 25, Main Street comes alive with vendors and exhibitors, local shopping and dining, engaging guest speakers and live demonstrations, hands-on kids’ activities, and guided water tours offering a unique view of active osprey nests. This family-friendly event highlights conservation, education, and the charm of Rock Hall, with something for all ages to enjoy.

TALBOT COUNTY TOUR will showcase significant historic sites in the county to offer visitors an unrivaled experience in celebration of America's 250th Anniversary. Country Clovers 4-H Club of Selbyville is holding a Craft Fair at Sound United Methodist Church in Selbyville near Harris Teeter on Saturday December 13 from 9 AM - 2 PM. We will be selling Beef Vegetable Soup, Turkey Salad and Hotdogs, as will as baked goods. Stop by for those last minute gifts and good food. We hope to see you there!
