Join the Historical Society of Kent County for a free talk, with a mini-workshop about storing paper artifacts at home
Museums professional Lana Faber will present a talk about the Library Inventory Project currently underway at the Historical Society, including an update on progress, a look at what's to come as the end of the project comes into view, and maybe some tidbits about the treasures she's come across during the project so far. She will also offer a mini-workshop on simple ways to store paper artifacts at home using basic office supplies.

Join the Partnership in Reentry Coalition of Delaware for the 10th Annual The Need for Partnership Conference: Reentry Solutions. Community, state, faith-based, criminal-justice, court, legislative, advocacy, family, and formerly justice-involved partners will gather to identify barriers to successful reentry and develop practical solutions. Wednesday, September 23, 2026, 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., at Wilmington University’s Center for Law, Justice and Society in Dover.

Join PHM for a rousing lecture series on the Second Sunday of every month at 2:00. Our Curator, in partnership with the DAR as a Corresponding Docent with the DAR Museum, is presenting lectures/PowerPoints on early American history. Each lecture features a different theme and showcases the history of the United States as told through the decorative arts collection of the DAR Museum in Washington, DC and the collection at PHM.
