Pocomoke City Water Bills to Go Up

Don Rush

Come July 1st Pocomoke City residents will see their water bills go up rising to an average of $21 a month.

Currently it is now at $18.

WBOC reports that city officials say the increase will help pay for the replacement of outdated water pipes.

While some residents told the television station that they believed their bills should not go up city officials say the hike will help the entire community in addressing the city water issues.
