Smyrna Opens Shelter As Temperatures Drop

With the temperatures now expects to get much colder tonight the town of Smyrna will open its Code Purple shelter this evening.

Temperatures are expected to get down to 6 above.

And combined with wind chill factor it could be as much as 3 below.

The shelter will open from 5 p.m . until 7 a.m. tomorrow morning.

For the rest of the week the shelter will be open according to the Kent County Code Purple schedule
