Multiple explosives were found in a Newark home.

New Castle County fire officials say that they tried to contact a person of interest in a suspicious device investigation in Wilmington.

WBOC reports after arriving yesterday morning ten homes were evacuated with several people asked to take shelter.

The police defused the explosive devices allowing neighbors to return to their home last night.

Officials say they no one has been arrested in connection with the incident but one person was taken into custody on a Pennsylvania warrant.

Authorities say they are continuing their investigation.
