The famed Michael Jordan has registered his “Catch 23” boat for the White Marlin Open next month.
Returning crews are welcoming the new competitor.
William Chapman who is competing in the Open told WBOC that think’s its awesome that someone of that athletic level will be competing this year.
He wished him good luck but still vowed to beat him.
The television station says it’s still uncertain whether Jordan himself will show up for the tournament.
The White Marlin Open runs from August 5th through the 9th.
