Worcester County Health officials say a kitten has tested positive for rabies.
WBOC reports that they said a black and tan female kitten was found on Snow Hill road north of Girdletree.
She was around 8 weeks old.
County health officials say they are concerned that the kitten may have come into contact with people or animals.
If anyone believes they or their pets may have done so… they should immediately contact county health officials and seek medical care
