A tropical storm along the Atlantic coastline appears to be set to provide some heavy rain today across Delmarva.

It’s known as Potential Tropical Cyclone X.

The National Weather Service says the worst of the storm is expected today with a high wind watch for Worcester, Accomack and Northampton counties.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports that weather officials say they expect as much as a quarter of an inch of rain in Accomack County with a half inch in Sussex. Somerset, Wicomico and Worcester Counties.

Officials expect nor’easter conditions for Ocean City… with winds has high as 40 mph and some gusts as high as 50 mph.
