creative commons

A 6 year old boy is alive after being found floating in a creek yesterday near the Wicomico County Tourist Information Center.

He was with a group of children from Dove Pointe in Salisbury.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports that a Dove Pointe employee was changing one child when the group noticed the other had been missing for around five minutes.

The child was pulled from the water but was unresponsive.

The Daily Times reports that he was taken to Peninsula Regional Medical Center and later to Baltimore but his condition is unknown.

He has not been identified by authorities.
