Boy in Coma After Losing Parents to Tornado

The 14 year old who was injured when a tornado ripped through the Cherrystone Campground last week is now in a coma at a Hampton Roads hospital.

Lheandrew Balabat’s two parents were killed when a tree fell on their tent.

He survived when a tree also struck his nearby tent.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports that his brother confirmed his condition.

His two younger sisters ages 12 and 7 have been treated and are now back in New Jersey.

A total of 36 people were injured from the tornado.
