Free Offer for Transponders with EZPass in Delaware

DOVER, Del. (AP) - The Delaware Department of Transportation is offering free E-ZPass transponders for new account holders.

Starting Friday, the $15 fee for a new transponder will be waived. The promotion ends Dec. 31.

The state has issued more than 350,000 E-ZPass transponders since introducing the electronic toll system in 1999.
