Delmarvans woke up to some snow on the ground which is expected to be anywhere from 2 to 4 inches.

The wind chill factor has reached the single digits over the last few days.

Delaware motorists are warned that bridges and the overpasses will freeze before the roadways and are urged to use caution.

Also in the First State there’s a winter weather advisory in effect until 4 p.m. for Kent and Sussex Counties.

In New Castle the advisory runs through 10 a.m. this morning.

The Delaware Department of Transportation says its crews have been treating the roads for the snow and rain.

Snow accumulation has not been enough to send out plows.

Meanwhile, the homeless shelters were packed over the weekend.
