Tainted Water Solution for Two Subdivisons in Wicomico County

Don Rush

The Wicomico County Council could have a plan to remedy the water contamination for 25 homeowners in the Colburn Woods and Morris Mills Subdivisions in Salisbury.

The state installed the carbon filters so that the water coming in through their pipes would be free of the contaminant TCE.

But Farrah Yaya, who owns one of the homes, told WBOC that she was concerned about the water in the sprinkler system outside the house.

She said she and her neighbors should be supplied with water from another town or build a water tower.
