Artesian Water Company Wastewater Treatment Plant Gets Green Light

all-free-download.com

The Artesian Water Company has been given the go ahead by Delaware regulators to move forward with a long-delayed commercial wastewater treatment plant northwest of Milton.

The plant would process up to 3 million gallons of wastewater on a daily basis and it would be located on 75 acres near the southeast corner of Delaware Route 30 and Reynolds Pond Road.

The Wilmington News Journal reports that the treated sewage would be recycled through spray irrigation systems…on around 17-hundred acres of nearby farmland and woods.

The site is to be developed in two phases.

But there is no immediate timetable for construction.
