Two men and one woman have been arrested in the shooting death of 48 year old Mohammed Rafique Ullah on Tuesday at a 7-Eleven in Newark.
The Wilmington News Journal reports that Andre Palmer, Vanisha Carson and Vincent Stallings – all in their twenties – were charged with first degree murder among other charges.
The armed suspects confronted the store clerk and demanded money.
Police say after handing over the cash he was shot as the suspects fled.
Delaware State detectives were able to connect the men to an attempted robbery late Tuesday night at the I-95 Service Plaza after reviewing surveillance footage.
