David J. Silverman (Ph.D., Princeton, 2000) is the director of graduate studies and a history professor at George Washington University in Washington, DC.
Dr. Silverman specializes in Native American, Colonial American, and American racial history. He has authored five books, the most recent of which is This Land is Their Land: The Wampanoag Indians, Plymouth Colony, and the Troubled History of Thanksgiving.
