Republican Governor Larry Hogan has called on the Biden administration to add Maryland to the lawsuit the Department of Justice has filed against Texas over the issue of gerrymandering. It comes as the new map would reshape the First Congressional District represented by the sole Republican Congressman in the state delegation. Former House Delegate Heather Mizeur is the leading Democrat to challenge Eastern Shore incumbent Andy Harris who won election in 2010 and has been a strong supporter of former President Trump.
