BALTIMORE (AP) — Police in Baltimore say a teenager arrested this week at a high school while in possession of a loaded gun has been charged in a woman's shooting.
Police on Tuesday said the 16-year-old boy is in custody on a first-degree attempted murder charge stemming from the Feb. 17 shooting of the woman, who suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
Police did not release her name or condition.
The teenager was arrested Monday at Patterson High School after a brief struggle with two unarmed school police officers.
Sgt. Clyde Boatwright with the school police union says the minor is a student enrolled in Baltimore City Public Schools.
