Maryland State Troopers Up Presence on Super Bowl Sunday

Maryland State Police will be out reminding drivers to be safe when celebrating this Sunday’s Super Bowl.

Additional troopers will be out cracking down on impaired driving, speeding and distracted driving among other violations.

There will be additional coverage along Routes 50 and 404.

WBOC reports that last year Maryland State Police made 44 DUI arrests.

There were over 11-hundred citations and around 1-thousand warnings issued.

And, there were 85 traffic accidents.
