WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) — An 18-year-old Delaware man faces federal charges in an attack on a Planned Parenthood facility.

U.S. Attorney David C. Weiss announced that Samuel James Gulick of Middletown was charged Monday with multiple offenses, including maliciously damaging a building with fire and intentionally damaging a facility that provides reproductive health services.

Court documents say security video recorded Gulick spray-painting a message at the Newark facility and tossing a lit object at a window before running away.

The fire burned out after about a minute. Gulick was arrested by the FBI on Saturday after investigators found social media posts containing anti-abortion messages.
