Getting into the Assateague National Seashore will get a little more expensive on January 1st of next year.

It’s part of a general increase for parks that charge fees to enter the grounds.

A 7 day pass to the park will not be $25 per vehicle and $20 for a motorcycle.

An annual pass will cost $45 and individuals will have to pay $15 person to get into the park.

But the Salisbury Daily Times reports that there will be no increase for camping or Oversand Vehicle Permit fees.

Revenue from the increases will be used for infrastructure and upkeep of the park.
