Crisfield Residents Get Boil Water Warning After Main Break

There’s a boil water warning for the residents of Crisfield due to a break in the major water main line.

The city says that washing and bathing are fine but for other uses the water should be boiled.

The ban will be lifted as soon as testing is done to ensure that there is no bacterial contamination.

WBOC reports that all water services have been restored as after being shut off between 5 p.m. through 12:30 a.m.

The television station reports that Richardson Avenue has been closed to through traffic from 4th Street to Chesapeake Avenue while work is being done on the water main break.
