Delaware lawmakers are pushing a measure that would require public schools to teach their students about consent and how to respect personal boundaries.

The bill would also define what consent means.

WBOC reports that State Senate Majority Leader Nicole Poore, sponsor of the bill, says that it would back up what students are already learning in their health classes.

The measure was approved unanimously by the state Senate and now goes to the House.
