Great White Shark Off Delaware Bay

A great white shark was seem off Delaware Bay this month as it moved northward.

It was spotted on Tuesday by the shark tracking organization OCEARCH.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports that its name is Cabot and stretches 9 feet 8 inches long weighting 533 pounds.

The shark was tagged near in Nova Scotia and was named for John Cabot.

Two other great whites have been recorded off Virginia and North Carolina.
