15-Year-Old Arrested in Bomb Threat to Salisbury Middle School

A 15 year old girl has been arrested in connection with a recent bomb threat called into the Salisbury Middle School.

The Wicomico County Sheriff’s office says that a staff member received a phone call around 11:25 a.m. on May 3rd with a warning that a bomb was about to explode on school property.

The campus was cleared with no device found. School officials and student then returned to campus around 1:15 p.m.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports that an investigation turned up a 15-year-old who wanted to disrupt the school so as to leave early.
