The school was evacuated at 9:18 a.m. with an announcement sent through SchoolMessenger to parents and a post on the school’s Facebook pace.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports that Paul Butler with the school district said that a call came into the main office saying that there was a live bomb on the campus.

He said the students and staff were taken to a safe location and parent would eventually be able to pick up their children at the Wicomico High School Auditorium after 10 a.m.
