Snow Brushes Maryland Lower Shore

Don Rush

Snow fell across the Maryland Lower Shore but turned to rain as the evening wore on with an inch or less of the white stuff was expected.

The snow emergency for Worcester County was lifted around midnight while Wicomico County lifted theirs at 1 a.m.

Meanwhile, Somerset County was placed under a snow emergency.

WBOC reports that Maryland State Police said they were on hand to help out the State Highway Administration to clear the remaining snow.

This afternoon should be sunny with high winds of up 45 mph.
