Snow Arrives on Delmarva

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Kent DE, Queen Anne's, Talbot, Caroline, Sussex, Dorchester, Wicomico, Worcester and Somerset through this afternoon.

Wednesday

Snow before 10am, then snow and sleet between 10am and 1pm, then rain after 1pm. High near 41. East wind 6 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 21 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow and sleet accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

Wednesday Night

Rain. Low around 39. East wind 8 to 11 mph becoming southwest after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New precipitation amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Thursday

Rain likely, mainly before 7am. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 57. West wind 10 to 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
