Snow Expected for Northern Delaware on Thursday

creative commons

Weather forecasters say they expect some snow in Delaware by Thursday.

That would be a month earlier than in most years.

The Wilmington News Journal reports that the white stuff is expected to be mostly in the northern part of the state.

Lee Robertson with the National Weather Service told the paper that Delaware has a 30 to 40 percent chance of freezing rain or snow in the month.

He said that should go up to 80 percent as the day progresses.

The snow is only expected to last a day and the sun should be back out by Friday.
