DOVER, Del. (AP) - Authorities say the death of a 24-year-old man found dead at the Port Mahon Pier in Dover has been ruled a homicide.

Delaware State Police said Friday in a statement that an autopsy determined Dontray Hendricks of Dover had been shot.

The State Police said previously that Hendricks was unresponsive when he was found at the fishing pier on Wednesday. State Police say specific details of the case are not being released in order not to jeopardize the investigation.
