Incumbents Win Reelection on Virginia Eastern Shore

On the Virginia Eastern Shore incumbent Democrat Lynwood Lewis beat back a challenge by Richard Ottinger in the state’s 6th Senate District.

Lewis took the seat in a special election in 2014.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports that in Accomack County Lewis picked up over 46-hundred votes while Ottinger only received 29-hundred.

In the House of Delegates incumbent Republican Robert Bloxom beat his Democratic challenger Willie Randall in 100th District by 84-hundred votes to 62-hundred.

Bloxom won the seat in a special election after Lewis vacated it.

In Accomack County Bloxom received 48-hundred votes to Lewis’s 25-hundred.
