Accomack County is rolling out a new system for those applying for building permits and they won’t even have to show up at a county office building.
The new online system will go into effect on August 1st.
The Salisbury Daily Times reports that online portal will be called ACCESS and will be available through the Accomack County homepage.
It will allow for services ranging from permit applications and inspection schedules to responding to county comments from county staff.
The new system is called EnerGov and will also allow for use by a mobile device.
