SANDY POINT, Md. (AP) - Authorities say the eastbound span of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge is closed after a two-vehicle crash involving an overturned truck.
Video from a traffic camera on the bridge Friday morning showed the rear of the truck hanging over the side of the bridge with a line of cars and trucks stretching out behind it on the span. Emergency workers are on the scene, but the Anne Arundel County Fire Department tweets that no injuries are reported.
The Maryland Transportation Authority says traffic is running in both directions on the westbound span, but motorists should expect delays.
