WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - A new website is offering Delawareans an opportunity to better understand their state by monitoring various social and community indicators.
Gov. Jack Markell planned to join officials with the Delaware Community Foundation in Wilmington on Monday for the launch of the website DelawareFocus.org.
The interactive online tool offers information on a variety of social, environmental and economic factors that affect quality of life.
The website was developed with help from the New York-based Center for Governmental Research, a nonprofit group that has created similar community indicator projects in New York, Tennessee and other locations.
