The shovels will be hitting the dirt for an estimate $208 million in road construction in Kent County over the next five to six years.
The money from the state and federal governments will go to provide the infrastructure for the increasing number of residents in the county.
The Wilmington News Journal reports that among the projects is one that would provide a director route to West Dover along U.S. Route 13 near Camden.
The paper reports that improvements will also include several overpasses along Delaware Route 1 that will help ease congestion during the summer months.
There are a total of 34 projects that will be completed between 2017 and 2022.
