Fire Shuts Down Sage Diner in Exmore

The Sage Diner in Exmore suffered a major blaze on Saturday night setting the roof ablaze.

The fire lasted from 10:15 p.m. to the early morning hours of 3:30 a.m. on Sunday forcing the closure of the restaurant.

The diner once served seafood and was called the Trawler Restaurant.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports that the owners were not available for comment.

The paper reports the Sage Diner in Onley has different owners are not affected by the fire.

There is another Sage Diner on Route 13 in Salisbury.
