Blaze Damages St. Michael's Hotel

A fire yesterday morning resulted in $150-thousand worth of damage to a hotel in St. Michaels.

WBOC reports the two story Harbortowne Resort Hotel was not occupied at the time of the blaze that broke out at before 8 a.m.

It took 45 firefighters some 15 minutes to be the blaze under control after a neighbor called for help.

Actual damage to the structure was estimated at $130-thousand and another $20-thousand for its contents.
