Water Shutoff in Selbyville Last Night

Don Rush

Some Selbyville residents found themselves without water last night after a major water line was hit by a utility truck in the area of Church Street and Baker Alley.

The problem was expected to be fixed by this morning.

During the water shutdown residents were told that once the water was turned back on they should boil it before using it.

In addition, residents were asked not the water their lawns until the problem had been fully fixed.

State officials will test the water to ensure safety.
