TAKOMA PARK, Md. (AP) - Two women's groups are endorsing Delegate Heather Mizeur in her bid for the Democratic nomination for governor.

The Washington Post reports that the Maryland chapter of the National Organization for Women and the national group Feminist Majority endorsed Mizeur on Monday.

Mizeur, the only woman at the top of a gubernatorial ticket for governor in Maryland this year, has already won an endorsement from EMILY's List, a national organization known for helping female pro-abortion rights candidates raise money.

Mizeur faces Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown and Attorney General Doug Gansler in the Democratic primary in June.
