Christopher Wheeler, the former headmaster of Tower Hill School in Delaware, has been charged with 25 counts of dealing in child pornography.
The Delaware General’s office says that the police are now searching for Wheeler who stepped down from his position in the midst of a criminal investigation.
At the time school officials said there was no reason to believe the investigation involved any current Tower Hill students.
But the Wilmington News Journal reports that the Attorney General’s office declined to say if any students at the exclusive school were involved.
Jason Miller, a spokesman for the Attorney General, said that examination of computers and digital media found during an October 22nd search recovered images of child pornography.
