There will be a groundbreaking ceremony tomorrow afternoon for the new Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital behind Four Corner Plaza in Onley.

The facility will spread out across 155-thousand square-feet with 69 beds along with another 40-thosuand square foot medical office building.

The Salisbury Daily Times reports that the completion date the Eastern Shore’s newest hospital is the winter of 2015.

Hospital officials say that the design for the building’s exterior will be unveiled during the groundbreaking ceremony.

They said that it will be consistent with the local architecture.

The facility is similar to the Riverside Health Service’s new Doctor’s Hospital in Williamsburg, Virginia.

Tomorrow’s ceremony will take place at 1:30 p.m.
