Three house fires have hit Maryland’s Lower Eastern Shore.

Two in Wicomico County

And, one in Somerset County.

A Thursday night blaze in the 800 block of North Division Street caused $30-thousand in damage to a wood-frame detached garage.

Another struck a West Chester Street single-family home at 2:15 am this morning.

Fire marshal documents say it began on the back porch.

Firefighters came from Delmar, Fruitland and Salisbury putting out the blaze in around 45 minutes which cause a total of $95-thousand in damage to the home and its contents.

Meanwhile, the Salisbury Daily Times reports that investigators are looking into a fire on Thursday in Princess Anne.

Around 25 firefighters spent around an hour getting the fire under control.

That home suffered a total of $100-thousand.

The family is being helped by the Red Cross.
