A vigil was held night for the three young children who died in a house fire near Long Neck Road this week.

Many shed tears as Pastor Lee Andrea Park with the Indian Mission Church said nothing hurt more than the loss of innocent children.

Skyler, Veronica and Amaya all under the age of five died in the blaze.

Indian River Volunteer Fire Company Chief Hayden Klinger told the gathering that it was difficult for his crew to walk through aftermath of the fire.

The Wilmington News Journal reports that the vigil of initially to be held for the family and firefighters other in the community also were in attendance.
