Another Shooting Death in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Authorities say a teenage boy has been killed and a child has been critically injured in a neighborhood on the city's west side.

Police says the teen was shot in the chest and was found in an alley near the 1500 block of W. Fourth St., between Delamore Place and Rodney Street, on Sunday afternoon. The teen was pronounced dead at a hospital.

Another boy was shot in the stomach and was in critical condition.

Police say no arrests have been made.

The shootings follow a week of violence in the city that has left several dead.
