The St. Michaels Farmers Market (SMFM) is an independent, non-profit, producer-only farmers market, located in the waterfront town of St. Michaels on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.
On Saturday mornings from April through November, we seek to support local farmers, foster community, and provide access to fresh food in Talbot County.

The CommUNITY Fall Fest takes place Saturday, October 18, from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., beginning right after the 10K/5K Run-Walk for Mental Health at 8:00 a.m. Non-profits from across the region will gather on the OCC lawn to cheer on the runners and showcase ways to get involved locally.
Visitors can enjoy a full lineup of festivities, including:
Adding to the fun, the Oxford Garden Club will host pumpkin painting, and the festival will debut its 1st Annual Scarecrow Contest. Residents and businesses are invited to create and display their scarecrows around Oxford, with a chance to win a gift certificate from Doc’s Sunset Grille. A community map of scarecrow locations will be available at oxfordcc.org starting October 1.

This is the second appearance of "The Young Fables" in support of the Village Improvement Association's efforts to raise awareness for the victims of domestic violence.

The 70 voice Chorus of Dorchester is looking for new and returning vocalists for their 50th year of rehearsals and community concerts.
No fees or auditions are necessary, and singers of all ages are encouraged to join and will be welcomed by all. The ability to read music is highly recommended but not required. The voicing is soprano, alto, tenor and bass. The theme will be sacred and secular

NAMI Family-to-Family is a free, 8-session education program for family, friends and significant others of adults with mental health conditions.
NAMI Family-to-Family provides information about anxiety, depressive disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and other mental health conditions. Other topics covered include communication, problem solving, treatment and recovery.
