Open rehearsals begin on Thursday, September 4, from 1-3pm at the Assateague Room of the Ocean Pines Community Center. This is an opportunity for interested folks to try out the group, meet other singers, ask questions, and decide if it’s a good fit. We are musically adept amateurs with a professional sound. We combine commitment and FUN to produce musically high quality shows. Musical training and experience are appreciated, but not necessary. If you love to sing, we welcome you and will help you be the singer you want to be. Spread the joy of holiday favorites, and some new tunes, by adding your voice to the chorus. The concert will be performed Friday, December 12 at 7:30 at Community Church at Ocean Pines.
This is an OPEN JAM! The host band will play the first set (starting at 7) and then open the stage to those who want to join in.Singers & harp players please bring your Microphones, guitars, keyboards, horns and drummers bring those sticks!

The St. Michaels Farmers Market (SMFM) is an independent, non-profit, producer-only farmers market, located in the waterfront town of St. Michaels on Maryland’s Eastern Shore.
On Saturday mornings from April through November, we seek to support local farmers, foster community, and provide access to fresh food in Talbot County.

The 29th Annual Chestertown Jazz Festival, "Jazz by the River," is scheduled for Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Wilmer Park in Chestertown, Maryland. The festival is held from 12 pm to 6 pm.

Established in 1974 in the Liberdade neighborhood of Salvador, Bahia, Ilê Aiyê is a cultural and social organization, as well as a musical powerhouse, celebrated for its unique Afro-Brazilian rhythms and captivating performances particularly in the genre of samba-reggae, which emerged in the 1970s as a response to the cultural and social inequalities faced by Black communities in Salvador. Ilê Aiyê’s performances are renowned for their iconic blend of elaborate costumes, choreographed dances, and electrifying energy, captivating audiences in Brazil and around the world.

The Peacherine Ragtime Society Orchestra is “the premier American ragtime ensemble” as hailed by The Washington Post. Peacherine recreates the musical stylings of a bygone era along with underscoring classic silent films using the original orchestral scores. As part of our Centennial programming this performance features Harold Lloyd’s feature length comedy The Freshman (1925) paired with its original score, accompanied live.
