Visitors will access houses and grounds rarely open to the public... nationally important historic waterfront homes with singular interiors, significant private gardens on the water: Wye House (a 17th Century National Historic Landmark, continuously occupied by 12 generations of the Lloyd family); Plimhimmon (where Revolutionary War hero Lt. Col. Tench Tilghman's widow entertained the Marquis de Lafayette); Emerson Point (graciously set on the Miles River); Harleigh Farm (for its spectacular grounds). Also Third Haven Friends (Quaker) Meeting House (1684) and Talbot Historical Society's Gardens and Neall House (1804).
