Bird Watching with Scott Housten

Bird Watching with Scott Housten

The Museum of Ocean City invites bird enthusiasts, nature lovers, and curious beginners alike to take part in Bird Watching with Scott Housten on Saturday, September 20 at 8:00 a.m.

The event begins at the Museum of Ocean City, where participants will be introduced to Scott Housten and learn about the diverse bird species that thrive in the Ocean City area. Guests will then embark on a guided birdwatching walk through some of the town’s best viewing spots, including the inlet, the jetty, and Sunset Park.

Along the way, birdwatchers may spot a variety of species such as songbirds, warblers, sparrows, terns, gulls, and other shorebirds.
This family-friendly program is designed for all ages and will last approximately 90 minutes. The walk will take place rain or shine, and participants are encouraged to bring their own binoculars and wear comfortable walking shoes.

The cost is $20 per person. Space is limited, and early registration is recommended.
